Guest column: Making progress on Hanford cleanup

The Department of Energy agrees that managing contamination resulting from the production of plutonium at Hanford requires diligence and great effort, but we take issue with The Daily Astorian's inaccurate portrayal of the progress that has been made to date and the work currently underway at this site.
